World on Wheels
WOW (World on Wheels) which is a mobile digital literacy program of #HP #Hewlett Packard. WoW is part of HP’s global initiative to create opportunities in underserved communities and empower people everywhere to build a better, more prosperous life. It also supports the Indian government’s Digital India initiative to transform the country into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
HP has given a VOLVO bus well equipped with a computer laboratory, Smart TV, Solar Panel with wi-fi and AC facilities. Since 2018, BIMTECH FOUNDATION and RANGANATHAN SOCIETY are running a DIGITAL LITERACY CAMPAIGN in villages, slums, district jails, Government schools, etc.
“WOW BUS” World On Wheels Bus a fully IT equipped bus less 20 thin line teachers desktops and a teacher desktop with two 42 centimeter led Display Screen. The WoW Bus is fully Computerized Bus there are 20 Students thin line students desktop are connected with the server and one teachers Desktop for the trainer \ teacher. It has two big LED Displays one is Touch Screen that is attached inside last wall in moving direction of the bus and another is attached back side face same opposite of the same wall. The rooftop of the bus is less with 20Solar plates and 10 200HP batteries that can store the solar power and help for run the Electronic machines inside the bus. Bus had equipped with Air-conditioner to cut the unnecessary temperature inside the bus. Bus is less with a Honda IOS 7000 generator for the emergency conditions. Bus had an extension board to connect the external support of electricity.
