Training of LIS Professionals
Knowledge sharing is an activity through which knowledge is exchanged among people, communities, or organizations. BIMTECH, Greater Noida and Ranganathan Society for Social Welfare and Library Development have provided many knowledge sharing platforms to the Library professional in India. It has organized many workshops pertaining to Research Methodology in order to sensitize people about the research methods and research ethics. A Number of National Level Workshops have been organized on Open Source Library Automation Software ‘KOHA’ and Institutional Repository Software ‘DSpace’. BIMTECH and RSSWLD have also organized conferences and seminar to provide a platform of Knowledge Sharing among the LIS professionals. Recently RSSWLD conducted a three-day workshop on Wheels.
