RSSWLD is working in five main verticals

• Upgradation and Establishment of Libraries especially in rural areas and prisons
  • It has opened eleven Prison Libraries
  • It has opened eight libraries in Villages
  • It has open two libraries in temples
  • It has opened three toy Libraries 
  • It has facilitated automation of about 11 libraries
  • It organizes Library-related activities from time to time
• Philanthropic Services
  • Project Protsahan Chiraiyya: project to uplift the Socio-Economic Status of Rural Girls
  • Vastra Vitran: Distribution of Sweaters and Blankets to needy 
  • It organizes Blood Donation Camps form from time to time
• Digital Literacy
  • It has initiated the Digital Literacy Programme in Neemka Village
  • World on Wheels: A fully equipped bus to provide Digital Literacy in nearby areas
• Social awareness and  Activities of National Concern
  • It regularly organizes activities on the issues pertaining to Society
  • It facilitates people who have achieved something 
• Capacity Building Programmes
  • It organizes Seminar/Conferences/Workshops to train LIS professionals
  • It also organizes Capacity Building Programmes for other sectors also.

The overall aim of RSSWLD is it to work for the upliftment of the society and for which it works day and night.
