Capacity Building Programme for NGO’s was organized jointly by Youth for Sewa, BIMTECH Foundations, RSSWLD and Kartikeya Vidya Kendra on April 21, 2019.

The aim of the workshop was to lay a roadmap for bringing Greater Noida amongst world’s top 25 self-sustainable cities. During today’s workshop, various NGO’s took this pledge and affirmed that they will be doing exemplary work in their fields as well as would contribute towards the different social organization for making this goal possible.

The lead speaker of the workshop Kiran DM, CEO, ONGC Foundation spoke about various aspects of NGOs -formation and development. He said, “In our country, there are a total of 37 lakhs non- government registered organizations but their productivity is not getting harnessed properly. Now a day’s government is promoting and helping such NGOs which are delivering good work while at the same time being very strict over fake NGO’s which are generating money on the name of social cause.” Delivering the inaugural address BIMTECH Director Dr H Chaturvedi said “United Nations has chosen Noida and Greater Noida for to be amongst world’s top 25 self-sustainable cities which will be role model cities. Especially Greater Noida is offered to be developed as City of Universities which will be the future city. So for achieving this goal the contribution of NGO’s is very important.” During the Seminar Founder of Ten News and PariChowk.com, Gajanan Mali also shared his experience and told how to use of digital Media for NGO’s through which they can do their work in a more organized manner and also can promote it.

About 30 different NGO’s along with many eminent social workers from the Delhi and Noida region participated in the seminar. Kavi Om Raizada, Alok Singh, T G Vijay Kumar, Awdesh Pandey amongst others also shared their problems in managing NGOs and experience in social work.
